In addition, the role will involve using your knowledge of various information security technologies to provide technical security advice, and influence design, policy and strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Position Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Network administration and preventive maintenance (including firewalls, servers, backup, security management, user account management, e-mail accounts and server configuration, internet access, office systems and applications support).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring IT network to ensure availability to all users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow security trends and stay abreast of technology changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assists with technology planning through ongoing research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Align IT risk management within IT productivity objectives.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performs technology needs analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of MS365 environment, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:&nbsp; This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.&nbsp; Other duties may be required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications:\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Education\/Experience:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education or solid knowledge of computer networking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 years experience managing and monitoring IT networks\/security, server administration, operating systems and\/or hardware<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 years experience handing mid-large size organization IT support to include Microsoft 365, Windows Operating System, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM is preferred. This also includes configuration\/security\/manufacturer updates which is strongly desired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Ability:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Active Listening \u2013 Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading Comprehension \u2013 Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing \u2013 Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possesses influencing skills as well as the ability to present complex situations in a clear and simple way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Speaking \u2013 Talking to others to convey information effectively.<ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other languages are an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Computer Skills:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) both in deployment and administration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with the following: Windows 10\/11, Windows Server, Active Directory, SCCM, patch management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of WAN\/LAN\/WIFI technology, Windows scripting\/logging\/auditing, encryption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linux experience a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work Environment:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
